The 4-Corners Lions Club’s 48th annual Craft and Vendor Show will be held at Frazee Elementary School on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Lions Club took over the show nine years ago with the Frazee Lions running it for five years before handing over duties to the 4-Corners Club.

Vendor spots remain open. If interested, contact Organizer Holly Gustner via text message at (320) 630-4688 or hollygustner@gmail.com.

The 4-Corners Lions do a solid job of marketing the event and spread the word around the region via newspapers, radio spots and social media. Vendors are expected from a wide region from Fargo to Pillager. Last year’s show attracted more than 60 individual vendors.

“We have people coming from all over,” said Gustner.

Admission is free to enter and lunch will be served.

“All of the proceeds of this go back into the community, so as many people as we can get to come—the only way we make money is from food and the raffles,” Gustner said.

Raffle drawings are held near the end of the show at approximately 2:30 p.m. Winners need not be present to win but organizers are hoping they will be at the show or come back to the show to pick up their prizes.

According to Gustner, the funds donated from the show typically go to cover needs at the school providing money, school supplies, clothing and other needed items; they support the Books for Bikes program and the toy drive.

“A lot of the money from this helps us do these things,” Gustner said.

The show is a few weeks earlier than normal for the second year in a row. It used to be held the Saturday before Halloween, but was moved up after having run into conflicts in the recent past like fall sports playoff games and deer hunting.

Set-up is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2. Contact Holly Gustner at hollygustner@gmail.com or text (320) 630-4688 for more information.

The Craft and Vendor Show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Frazee Elementary School.

Trunk ‘n Treat Oct. 25

The 4 Corners Lions will again be set up at the Lakes Corner Liquor parking lot for the annual Trunk n’ Treat afternoon from 2-4 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 25.

While the event is a short two hours, the Lions Club packs in a lot of fun. Last year more than 600 hot dogs were served in less than two hours.

Candy will be available for kids in costume, along with other family fun activities.
