Area students have worked hard at college and earned academic accolades. 

On the fall semester Dean’s List for University Wisconsin—Eau Claire were 2,986 students, including Jaryn Johannsen of Frazee.  

Minnesota State University Moorhead also released the students who earned Dean’s List accolades by maintaining a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Those students included Frazee residents Sydney Bahls, Kaitlyn Borah, Sierra Brolin, MacKenzie Eckre, Carlos Gutierrez, MacKenzie Wutzke. 

Vergas residents making the grade at MSUM included Wyatt Carlson and Else Lakin.

Rochert resident Abigayle Skinner made the MSUM Dean’s List as did Frazee High School graduates Jenna Holmer and Natalie Nudell.

Bahls is pursuing a degree in physical education, Borah a degree in elementary inclusive education adn Brolin is workign toward a graphic communication degree and Certificate in Publishing. Carlson is earning a degree in advertising, Eckre a degree in speech, language and hearing science and Gutierrez a degree in physical education. Holmer, who lives in Detroit Lakes, is earning a degree in English adn history. Lakin is workign towards a degree in psychology and pre-occupational therapy. Nudell, a Pelican Rapids resident, is earning a degree in elementary inclusive educaiton. Skinner is workign toward a degree in business administration. Wutzke is earnign a degree in public relations.
