A Frazee man was found deceased in a Burlington Township ditch on Tuesday, Feb. 28, according to a Becker County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Emergency dispatchers received a report of a deceased male lying in a roadside ditch on 300th Avenue, just north of 137th Street in Burlington Township At 7:29 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28,
Daniel Jack Thompson, 31 of Frazee, was confirmed dead at the scene by first responders.
According to the release, a preliminary investigation indicated no obvious signs of trauma and the incident remains under investigation.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Frazee Rescue Service, Essentia-St. Mary’s EMS, the Detroit Lakes Police Department and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The incident is believed to be isolated with no danger to the public, according to Sheriff Todd Glander.
