Frazee Post 15 fell to 4-5 overall after dropping a pair of games to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Tuesday night. 

Post 15 will have a pair of games this week including a doubleheader against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Tuesday night and a pair of games against Parkers Prairie on Friday night. Both games will be on the road. 

Tuesday

Frazee took an early 3-0 lead, but a 12-run top of the sixth inning proved to be the difference as DGF defeated Post 15 by a score of 18-3 in the first part of a doubleheader on Tuesday night. 

Drew Mekalson broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the second inning when he secured a bases loaded walk, before Kale Ovsak and Caden Frank hit back-to-back RBI singles to give Post 15 a 3-0 lead. 

Unfortunately, DGF scored 4 runs in the top of the fourth inning, 2 runs in the fifth inning and 12 more in the top of the sixth inning to come away with the win. 

Ovsak and Frank led the way offensively with 2 hits apiece, while Mark Jaroszewski took the loss on the mound after giving up 8 hits and 6 earned runs over 4 innings of work. 

In the second game of the night, Frazee held DGF to just 6 hits and 6 runs, but fell by a score of 6-0. All of the DGF runs came in the third and fourth innings.

Despite not scoring a run, Frazee had several chances to get a run across the plate as they stranded 5 runners on base, including runners on first and second base in both the first and fourth innings.

Frank and Zach Longfors led the way offensively with 2 hits apiece, while Asher Blaine took the loss on the mound as he gave up 6 hits and 5 earned runs over 4 innings of action.
