Pageant set for Saturday night at Frazee High School

Hailey Selly and Taelor Kuhn will compete for the title of Miss Frazee, while Sophia Strand and Alydia Mitchell will compete for the title of Miss Frazee Teen on Saturday night at Frazee High School. 

The contestants will not only be competing for a variety of scholarships, but also the opportunity to take over the reigns from 2022 Miss Frazee Marcella George and 2022 Miss Teen Frazee Katie Courneya who will officially hand over their tiara and sash to the new royalty. The pageant will get underway at 7 p.m. 

Miss Frazee contestant Hailey Selly is the daughter of Jason and Holly Selly. She is a senior at Frazee High School and will be sharing her love for dance for her talent on Saturday night. 

Miss Frazee contestant Taelor Kuhn is a senior at Frazee High School. She will be performing with elegance on the piano for her talent. 

Candidates for the Miss Teen pageant include Sophia Strand, who is the daughter of Nicole Strand. She is a junior at Frazee High School and for her talent she will be showing her passion for sports by performing a volleyball control demonstration. 

Alydia Mitchell will also compete for the title of Miss Teen. She is the daughter of Trescha and Chad Mitchell. She is a freshman at Frazee High School and will be sharing her passion and love with a jazz dance for her talent. 

The Miss Frazee and Miss Teen will represent the community at community events and functions throughout the next year. 

The Miss Frazee pageant is open to the public. The cost to attend is $6.
