Madi Perrine took 17th place individually and Jonah Sharp led the boys team with a 23rd place finish as the Frazee Hornets traveled to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Monday in their lone action of the week.

On the girls side, eighth grader Perrine led the way with a 17th place finish with a time of 22:28, while Lola Hoehn took 49th place with a time of 24:54, Caleigh Pausch took 80th place with a time of 27:34 and Emersyn Wake took 92nd place with a time of 34:42.

Sharp led the boys team with a 23rd place finish with a time of 19:55. Brady Borah took 40th place with a time of 20:00, Tyden Schaefer took 81st place with a time of 21:37, Alex Helmers took 92nd place with a time of 22:11 and Daniel Winn took 121st place with a time of 27:57. 

As a team the Hornets finished in ninth place overall with a score of 231. They were just one point short of West Central Area who finished in eighth place with 230 points. The girls team did not fill a full squad to accumulate a full time score. 

This week the Hornets will travel to Bagley on Tuesday in their lone action of the week.
