0Paulette Mary (Aldrich) Bachmann, age 70, of Frazee, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Sanford Medical Center Fargo following a brief illness with her family by her side.
Paulette was born on July 11, 1953, in Perham, MN, daughter of the late Barnabus “Bill” and Louanna (Eaton) Aldrich. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in earlier years, was baptized and confirmed there. Paulette graduated from Frazee High School in 1971. She worked as receptionist for MeritCare Health, later Sanford, retiring several years ago. She spent many of those working years in Perham and later transferred to Detroit Lakes.
Paulette married Allan Bachmann, and together they enjoyed fishing and baseball; she loved watching Bubbles play. She was a huge fan of all Minnesota sports teams; she was an even bigger fan of watching her grandchildren play. Known to them as “Silly Grandma”! She enjoyed knitting, playing checkers and cards, especially 3 & 13. She loved watching the squirrels and birds, always hoping for a cardinal to show up. Her greatest love, however, was for her family. She will be sadly missed.
Paulette is survived by her children: Chris (Irma) Schram of Perham, Jennifer (Jerry) Moris of Perham, Erin (Jason) Ruud of West Fargo, Tony (Nikki) Schram of Hibbing, Jake (Shantel) Bachmann of Frazee and Annie (Ryan) Vigen of Frazee; her siblings: Pam (Jim) Pontius of Ottertail and Patty Morcomb of Backus, MN; and her grandchildren: Alyssa (Nate) Rahn, Nathan Moris, Kendra Moris, Layton Ruud, Deven Ruud, Jaxen Current, Charleigh Schram, Wiley Bachmann, Karli Bachmann, Kate Vigen and Adam Vigen. She also leaves her in-laws: Alfred and Marian Bachmann of Frazee, Darwin Bachmann of Frazee and Jolene (John) Bruhn of Vergas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Allan.
