Alice Arlene Murray, 88, died peacefully, Monday, November 6, 2023, in Loveland, Colorado. She was born July 18, 1935, in Frazee, Minnesota to Fred & Agnes Janke. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 1956 and married David Fernsel Murray on March 10, 1958. She and David raised two daughters in Arvada, Colorado.  Alice worked for Mountain Bell/US WEST starting as an information operator and retired as a first level manager in 1986. Alice especially enjoyed spending special times with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, David Fernsel Murray, her mother and father Agnes (Ready) Janke and Fred Janke, her brothers, Walter (Gloria) and Lawrence (Frances) Janke, and her sisters, Doris (Richard) Hagen, Sara (Melvin) Gatchell, and Marie (Alvin) Bostrom. She is survived by daughters Bonnie (Tom) Hershfeldt and Diana Murray, granddaughter Allison (Chad) Jones, grandsons Sean and David Hershfeldt, great grandchildren Kane and Lucy Jones, recently reunited son Michael Glasco and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, December 27th at 12:00 p.m. at Overlook Clubhouse, 650 Orion Ave, Erie, Colorado. She will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
