Jayden Sonnenberg scored her 1,000th career point during Friday night’s 70-49 loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton. The sophomore has been one of the leading scorers for the Hornets all season long as they have jumped out to a 5-6 record overall. Last week the Hornets fell to Perham by a score of 75-49 on Tuesday night and DGF on Friday. The pair of losses dropped the Hornets to 0-6 in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference as they look to rebound this week they host Staples-Motley on Tuesday night, before traveling to Breckenridge on Thursday for another HOL game. On Saturday the Hornets will host Thief River Falls in a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 p.m. Stats and information concerning last week’s games against Perham and DGF were not provided prior to press.
