The Frazee Hornets dropped a pair of games last week, even though one of the games was a brief two inning affair against Perham.
After the second half of a doubleheader against the Yellowjackets on April 11 was suspended due to darkness and the game tied at 17-17, the two teams picked up the game on Monday afternoon right where they left off. Unfortunately, the Yellowjackets were able to come away with a 21-19 wild win in seven innings.
On Thursday night the Hornets came out on the wrong side of an 11-2 loss to Sebeka.
This week the Hornets will host Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference doubleheader, before traveling to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Friday.

This time around both teams went down in order in the sixth inning, before Perham scored four runs, three of which were unearned, in the top half of the seventh inning to take a 21-17 lead.
In the bottom half of the seventh inning, Sophia Strand led off the inning by reaching on an error. She stole second base and would later score on an Evie Seim RBI double. Unfortunately, Seim would later be thrown out at the plate for the first out of the inning.
With two outs and McKenna Wacker on base, Ashley Malikowski made the score 21-19 when she hit an RBI single. With the tying run at the plate, the Yellowjackets were able to force a ground ball and end the wild game by a score of 21-19.
The Hornets picked up 22 hits in the game including four hits from Ellie Trieglaff and three each from Seim and Hailee Olson. Olson, Malikowski and Strand each had 3 RBIs in the loss.

A six run top of the first inning proved to be too much to overcome on Thursday night as the Frazee Hornets fell to the Sebeka Trojans by a score of 11-2. In addition to their big first inning, which included four Hornet errors, the Trojans added two runs in the fourth inning and three more runs in the top of the sixth inning to come away with the win.
The lone runs for the Hornets came on a Rylea Sandberg RBI single in the second inning and a Evie Seim RBI single in the top of the fourth inning.
Brea Paurus led the way offensively as she finished a perfect 3-3 at the plate.
Riyan Eckert took the loss on the mound as she pitched four innings and gave up eight runs, but just one of which was earned, as well as seven hits and struck out three batters. Ellie Trieglaff pitched the final three innings in the circle as she gave up two earned runs and five hits.
