Kim Lori Pfeiffer, age 65, passed away on July 22, 2024 at St. Catherine South Nursing Home in Fargo, ND.

Kim was born August 12, 1958 to Francis and Mavis (Glawe) Pfeiffer in Detroit Lakes, MN. In her early years, she experienced preschool, taught by Helen Sonnenberg. At the age of 5 years, she began school at the School for Crippled Children in Worthington, MN, for a few years, followed by an education at the Braille School at Fairbault, MN, until she was 21 years of age.

With the exception of holidays, Kim lived away from home nine months of the year. The majority of her life, Kim lived at group homes. She spent many years in Duluth, MN, coordinated with the Lighthouse for the Blind. She then moved to Fergus Falls and worked at Productive Alternatives. Following an injury in 2019, Kim resided at the St. Catherine South Nursing Home.

Kim enjoyed being with people, making friends and touching the hearts of everyone she met on her life journey. She always looked forward to the next adventure! She passionately enjoyed food, except broccoli and raisins. Kim faced life challenges with determination. We can only imagine Kim’s response when she entered heaven, free of all infirmities.
