Paint with Nate! Get creative with nature. Join Park Rapids Artist Nate Luetgers for a fun afternoon of painting. This is a great activity for people of all ages. Cost is $40 which includes all the material needed to complete the project. Registration is through the Friends of Tamarac at Eventbrite.com. Meet at the Discovery Center.

Movie: Penguin Post Office. In the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula there’s a unique British post office surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery that includes 3000 gentoo penguins. Every summer, this colony of penguins returns from deep sea fishing to its breeding grounds alongside the post office trekking two miles across sea ice and snow. 55 min.

Tamarac Fall Festival This day is for the birds! Discover the wonders of Tamarac’s birds and the magic of migration. The Nature Connection will be here with live raptors!
