Thursday, Aug. 29
8:03 p.m. Traffic stop to educate a young man about driving a dirt bike motorcycle in the ditch and on the public roadways.
Friday, Aug. 30
12:38 a.m. Report of a dog barking in the Red Willow area. Officer sat in the area two different times and did not hear any dogs barking.
11:33 a.m. Female calling to report a marijuana smell in her apartment building.
2:52 p.m. Report of a crash detection on a cell phone on U.S. Hwy 10. Unable to locate any issues on the highway.
10:22 p.m. Traffic stop with warning for improper lane usage.
Sunday, Sept. 1
3:06 p.m. Officer found a cooler with food and drinks sitting in the street. Officer found party at the campground who was missing a cooler and it was returned.
Monday, Sept. 2
2:05 a.m. Officer found the rear door hatch open on a vehicle. No answer at the owner’s house. Officer took photos and closed the hatch.
1:25 p.m. Two juvenile backgrounds completed for FBI for firearms purchase.
4:38 p.m. Vehicle unlock on 130th St.
4:52 p.m. Traffic stop with warning for speed and no proof of insurance.
6:41 p.m. Male party reporting that he sold a vehicle to another male and it has not been fully paid for. Officer told the complainant that it was a civil matter.
10:31 p.m. Assist with looking for a juvenile for an incident that happened in Otter Tail County.
Tuesday, Sept. 3
2:35 p.m. Caller asking for information of a possible hit and run at the Dollar General after a vehicle was possibly damaged there. No video of any such accidents during the reported time.
3:52 p.m. Business owner reporting tomatoes were thrown at their building over the weekend.
9:03 p.m. Traffic stop with warning for equipment issues.
9:52 p.m. Traffic stop with warning for no tail lights.
Wednesday, Sept. 4
7:29 a.m. Traffic stop
9:28 a.m. Disturbance reported on Main Ave W. Carrie Butcher, 29, Frazee arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
10:58 a.m. Information discussed with the high school principal regarding students who cannot have contact with one another.
3:16 p.m. Motor vehicle crash on Main Ave W. One driver cited for a stop sign violation.
6:09 p.m. Report of possible drug activity. Information shared with drug task force.
6:39 p.m. Stray dog brought to the PD. Dog was taken to Marshmallow Foundation in DL.
Thursday, Sept. 5
4:57 p.m. Vehicle unlock on Valley View Rd.
5:18 p.m. Follow up on an aggressive dog that happened on August 20th.
10:02 p.m. Dog from above call to be deemed Potentially Dangerous by Chief Trieglaff per city ordinance.
10:05 p.m. Two properties being cited for grass and weeds, city administrative citation.
11:38 p.m. Report of a possible theft of a muffler from a vehicle. Unknown how long muffler had been missing and there were not any fresh cut marks on the tailpipe.
