The Frazee girls cross country team wrapped up their regular season with a ninth place finish at the Heart O’ Lakes Conference meet on Tuesday in Perham. The meet was held at the same location as the Perham Invite less-than one week beforehand at Arvig Park.
All nine varsity runners for the Hornets posted season best times at the meet, which is the final one before this week’s Section 8A cross country meet in Bagley.
Eli Heston took 54th place in a competitive Heart O’ Lakes Conference meet on Tuesday.
Lola Hoehne led the girls team with a 37th place finish with a time of 22:15.8, while Rilynn Ruiz finished in 40th place finish with a time of 22:20.6. Brooklyn Riewer took 43rd place finish with a time of 24:24.9, Bristol Larsen took 51st place finish with a time of 24:24.9 and Caleigh Pausch took 52nd place finish with a time of 24:27.2.
The boys team ran as an incomplete team since they had just five runners, but were led by Jonah Sharp who finished in 32nd place finish with a time of 18:25.2. Paul Sharp finished in 41st place finish with a time of 19:15.1, Talon Hoverson finished in 45th place finish with a time of 19:35.1 and Eli Heston finished in 54th place finish with a time of 21:12.1.
