The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) will be holding its annual Conference Championship event for regional High School Robotics teams in Bemidji on Friday, Oct. 25. The event will be held in the gymnasium at Bemidji High School.

This is the NMRC’s 7th annual Championship event which will showcase robots from 26 teams from across Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. The following day, Saturday, Oct. 26, there will be another day of robot action during the NMRC’s Open Tournament which will feature additional teams from outside the conference.

Doors will open to the public at 9 a.m. daily with free admission. This event is great for families and kids as they will have a chance to watch matches, walk through the pits, and speak to teams about their robots.

The event is expected to continue throughout each day with a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m and the Championship matches starting around 5 p.m. Concessions will be available on site.

Streaming of the event can be found on R & J Broadcasting’s “Your Live Event” channel on YouTube.
