With a 3-0 win over Battle Lake on Tuesday night, the Frazee Hornets won 12 games in the regular season for just the second time in 10 years. The last time the Hornets won more than 12 games was in 2019 when Frazee went 13-12 overall and two of those wins came in the Section 6A volleyball tournament.

Katie Courneya was busy last week as she helped the Hornets pick up their 12th win of the season.

The Hornets are currently 12-12 overall and received the 10th seed in the Section 8AA volleyball tournament. They will travel to Perham on Wednesday night to take on the seventh seeded Yellowjackets in the opening round of the tournament.

The winner of Wednesday’s game will take on second seeded Hawley on Friday night in Hawley in the quarterfinals of the section tournament.
