0A Perham man is in Cass County Jail in Fargo and is accused of felony terrorizing after allegedly holding his ex-girlfriend against her will and threatening her life at a Fargo hotel on Friday, Oct. 25.
Jamie Ray Frazee, 43, was charged with terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing an adult victim and a pair of misdemeanor assault charges.
According to court records, Frazee is accused of holding the woman against her will and threatening to kill her at the hotel.
The woman told officers she was dating Frazee, but they broke up a month prior. The two met in Fargo and booked a hotel room. The following day, the two went fishing and hiking, but when the woman later told Frazee she was going home, she said he “flipped.”
At that point, the two began driving around Fargo and Frazee allegedly tried to put a cigarette out on the woman’s face and put a knife to her throat multiple times.
Back at the hotel, Frazee used the woman’s credit card to book a second night at the hotel. She said Frazee physically forced her to stay with him overnight and take a shower while he watched. She claimed that Frazee told her he wanted to kill and dismember her.
Officers reported that the woman had a red mark on her cheek where Frazee tried to burn her with a cigarette and had a knot on her forehead where he hit her with her own cell phone.
A knife matching the description of the one the woman said Frazee held to her throat was found in the SUV.
Frazee denied anything physical happened with the woman.
He will make his next court appearance on Wednesday, Dec. 11. He remains in custody at the Cass County Jail in Fargo.
