Harold Oscar Ness born March 6, 1944 passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Harold graduated from Granville High School, MN in 1961. Married Kathleen (Kitty) E. Cox June 1964, they went on to have two wonderful children Stephen and Katherine. 

Harold retired from MN Highway Dept. and moved to Frazee, MN. Harold liked to stay busy, so he started Harold Ness Technical. Harold enjoyed traveling, fishing and hiking, so Arizona was calling when they wintered, until they moved permanently to Gold Canyon in 2017.

Harold kept busy fixing anything he could get his hands on, also enjoyed helping out family, friends and neighbors, often handling out “really good beans” and smoked ribs.

Harold survived by Kathleen (Kitty) Ness, Stephen Ness, Mary Ness, Katherine Ness. 

Grandchildren Alura and Alex Richardson, Kaila Kemmentz-Ness, Tyler and Marlo Ness. 

Harold’s sister Peggy Ness-Palmer her husband Tony, and their children Melissa and Tim. 

Celebration of life will be held Jan. 25, 2025 from 2-5 p.m., at Harold and Kitty’s home at 7844 East Meseto Ave. Mesa, AZ 25209. Live streamed on YouTube @steveness.
