Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) has announced its fourth annual Energy Forum, taking place on Friday, June 6, at Thumper Pond Resort in Ottertail.

The event, scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., will explore how LREC and its partners are responding to the state’s Carbon-Free by 2040 mandate, the expansion of high-voltage transmission infrastructure, and balancing innovation with reliability and affordability in electric generation. Presentations will be followed by an Energy Services trade show featuring information on LREC products and services.

Attendees will gain valuable insights from a panel of industry leaders, who will share their perspectives on the evolving energy landscape and the proactive steps being taken to ensure safe, dependable, and cost-effective power for cooperative members across Minnesota.
