The Frazee Babe Ruth 14u team qualified for the state tournament after finishing as runner up at the Lake Region Babe Ruth North District Tournament in Hawley.  Frazee opened the tournament with a 19-0 win over Barnesville, before falling to Hawley by a score of 11-9. Frazee went on to defeat two different Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton teams by scores of 5-2 and 5-3, before punching their ticket to state with a 22-13 win over Detroit Lakes. In the championship game Frazee fell to Hawley by a score of 15-4 to finish as the district runner up. Frazee will participate in the state Babe Ruth tournament set for July 17-20 in both Henning and Urbank. The seedings and brackets were not released at the time of press.
