The Becker County Sheriff’s Office shared an act of kindness on social media last week giving credit to Hallie, daughter of Kody and Megan Galbrecht. The family lives in rural Perham, Megan’s hometown. Kody is originally from Frazee and has worked at the Frazee Municipal Liquor Store for nearly two decades.

The Sheriff’s Office shared the following note, along with the accompanying photo:

“What a heartwarming act of kindness! Hallie’s generosity and compassion are truly inspiring—choosing to give from a place of abundance shows such emotional maturity and empathy. Her donations will bring comfort to children facing some of their hardest moments, and the Deputies carrying those stuffed animals will now be able to offer not only safety, but a bit of hope and warmth too.”

“These small, soft tokens can mean the world to a child who’s been through trauma. It’s amazing to see a young person lead with such a big heart. If the world had more Hallies; imagine the ripple effect of goodness we’d see. Thank you Hallie!”
