0Brennen Cecil Wothe passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital from complications following his 7th open-heart surgery.
Brennen was born June 17, 1988, in Perham, Minnesota, to Phillip and Stacy Wothe. He was a 2007 graduate of Waconia High School. He worked as an assistant manager at Jimmy John’s for years and then a machine operator at 3M.
Brennen lived in the moment. He was a fan of all Minnesota sports, but particularly a diehard fan of the Vikings. He enjoyed golfing, playing video games and spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed camping and hanging out at the “Wothe Deer Shack.” He loved a good country music festival and always had a good time, rain or shine.
Brennen had a very generous personality. That generosity will carry on through his choice to be an organ donor. His liver and kidneys have already saved the lives of three people while his gifts of tissue and eyes will help and heal the lives of over 150 people.
Brennen is survived by his parents, Phillip Wothe and Stacy Wothe; his grandmothers, Janice Hensel and Kay Wothe; his sister Stephanie Wothe and brother-in-law Alexander Fagerheim; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandma Joyce Wothe, great grandma Alice Hendrickson, grandpa Alan C. Wothe, and grandpa Cecil J. Hensel Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024, at The Lakeside Cemetery Columbarium in Frazee, Minnesota. Following the memorial service, family and friends will get together to continue to celebrate Brennen’s life and memory.
