Evelyn was born on Sept 16, 1926 to Herman and Elizabeth Galbrecht in Toad Lake Township, Becker County, Minnesota.  She was a graduate of Frazee High School, class of 1945.  Evelyn had fond memories of her high school days and so enjoyed attending reunions.  After high school Evelyn moved to Minneapolis where she met her beloved husband Alvin Esenrich.

She is survived by daughters Sue (Joe) Santiago and Pam (Jeff) Van Heel, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who she held dear.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers Ralph, Lawrence, and Butch.
