Taken too soon, our beloved father Mark Allan Miller, born October 12, 1957, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2022, at his home at the age of 64.

Mark is survived by his daughters: Jennifer (Daniel) Gray, Heather Miller, and Stacia (Cody) Heisler. He was blessed with ten grandchildren: Logyn (Anna) Tharaldson, Arianna Miller, Bethany (Devin Hagen) Friendshuh, Michael Friendshuh, Kaden, Ethan and Caleb Gray, Joseph, Gage, and Adelyn Heisler and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his two sisters, Deb Miller and Denise Johnston; sister-in-law, Pat (Dave) Puetz; and many nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Cal and Jackie Miller; brother, Cal Miller II; and his fishing buddy brother-in-law, Jerry Johnston.

Nothing meant more to Mark than his family. He was a man of many hobbies and was always working on a project or two, with a detailed to-do list always at hand. Most recently he hand-built, pull-behind mini-campers for motorcycles, with the intent to turn them into a business as he planned to finally retire. The level of detail, effort, and heart our dad put into every project he tackled was an inspiration for us all.

If you didn’t find Mark working on a project, he was either riding his beloved Harley or cheering on his Minnesota Vikings, because according to him, he bled purple. He had such a loving smile, and we will always remember his smirk as he tried to tell a dad joke but often got too excited for the punchline. Soaring high with the eagles now, his family knows he will be watching over them.

A private viewing was held by the family. To honor our father, a Celebration of Life will be held at his residence in Vergas, MN on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
