Paul Joseph Guck was born February 22, 1933, in Perham, Minnesota, the son of George and Clara (Lederman) Guck. He passed away March 23, 2021, at his home near Frazee, Minnesota.

He grew up and attended school in Perham and continued his education at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army receiving his honorable discharge in 1955.

On June 20, 1959, he was united in marriage to Sharon Schmitz at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Perham. To this union four children were born. They made their home in Minneapolis and Paul worked for Sterling Electric for 40 years before retiring back to the lakes area.

He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the Lions. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and took great pride in landscaping and caring for his home.

Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years Sharon Guck; children: Brian (Jessie) Guck, Brad Guck, Debbie (Anton) Barthel; grandchildren: Benno Barthel, Paul Barthel; siblings: Richard (Sue) Guck, Ray Guck, Lambert Guck and OdiliaRiestenberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Clara Guck; daughter: Beth Guck; siblings: Lawrence Guck, Hank Guck, Elizabeth Laughlin, Bernice Laughlin.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 26, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25 from 5:00-7:00 PM with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 6:30 PM and a parish prayer service at 7:00 PM.

Visitation will continue for one-hour prior to the service at the church.
