Steve was born on October 14, 1976 and grew up in the Rochert MN area. He graduated from Frazee High School in 1995.

Stacy was born on June 17, 1973 and grew up in the Richwood MN area. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1991.

In 2001 is when their love story began. It was not love at first site as one may have thought after seeing their love for one another later on. She wasn’t even convinced after he got ran over by a hayride she was on. It was not until he was at a work Christmas party when he decided he needed a date. After he finished his meal and had some liquid courage, he stood up announced he should probably go pick up his date. He then drove to her house, knocked on her door and invited her to the rest of the party. She accepted the invite. Some speculate it could have just been that he needed a sober ride back, regardless, the rest is history.

They were married on September 21, 2001 after nine months of dating. Their love was unconditional and continued to grow through the years. They loved as hard as they could and were never shy about the fact that they would not want to live a day on this earth without one another. To know them, was to know their love for each other.

Steve’s had a big “tough” exterior but was just a giant teddy bear. Everyone always knew who really wore the pants in their relationship. Stacy’s common saying of “hUUnny” would not only make him stop what he was up to but it made everyone else giggle.

They not only had a ton of love for one another but they also had a ton of love for their family and friends. No matter how long it had been since the last time one seen them, whether it was a days or years, it was like you never skipped a beat. You were always greeted with a big smile and the best hugs.  Hugs in which you could feel their love.

They were preceded in death by their parents, and several other family and friends. They leave behind many family members, friends, and friends that became family and will forever be greatly missed.
