The area received about 16-inches of snow Saturday, pretty much plugging roadways. City and private snow removal crews were busy since early Sunday morning trying to put some order to the heavy snowfall. Frazee Streets & Utilities Supt. Keith Myher said some city streets are down to one lane, and contracted help will have to be called should much more snow fall. He noted intersections are obstructed with snowbanks; motorists are advised to use caution. Many of the fire hydrants are under banks, but Myher noted some residents have taken it upon themselves to clear the ones by their homes.
The Minnesota Twins will be in Frazee Friday, Jan. 17, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 8-9 a.m. and the Frazee High School at 9. Reprentatives Jack Morris, World Series MVP in 1991, Frank Rodriguez, Pat Meares and Ryan Lefebvre of Midwest Sports Channel will be visiting.
