Enjoy Labor Day weekend with family, friends

As we head into the Labor Day weekend, I hope you can spend some time with family and friends before summer draws to a close. Labor Day is always an opportunity to hit pause before we get back into the busy routine that fall brings as kids go back to school and the weather turns cooler.
In the 1890s, Congress approved legislation that made Labor Day a national holiday. On June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed that bill into law.
This Labor Day, I encourage you to take a moment to think about the hardworking men and women who continue to add to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country, state, and communities. America is the most prosperous nation in the history of the world because we have always had the best workforce in the world.
