To the Editor,

We need you today to help Frazee in allocating $1.85 million to support the development of Wannigan Regional Park. We are honored to have local legislators who authored a bill in the Senate and House, thanks to Senator Utke and Representative Knudsen. 

This money has already been set aside at the state level. It’s up to us to bring it home. We need your help to contact the Capital Investment Committee in the House and Senate to ensure these bills are passed. The funding is critical to having water and sewer infrastructure in the park as well as a paved road to access the park. We need you to contact them now, as they are currently making decisions on who will receive funding.  

Would you reach out to express your support? It WILL make a difference, they need to hear from all of us.

Reach out to them to support House File 4036 or Senate File 4129. Tell them how important the bills are to our entire region to support critical infrastructure in the City of Frazee needed to develop Wannigan Regional Park. Tell them you appreciate their consideration and let them know how you’re connected to the area. Our community has worked hard to raise matching funds to ensure the sustainability of the park for years to come, and we thank you for your efforts.
