The road ahead

The incredibly destructive period of MAGA/Republican/Trump rule is losing its grip and will eventually disappear leaving behind a formerly great nation in tatters within its boundaries and extending to its loss of trust around the free world. There has been nothing “Great Again” from 6 years of their rule…nothing.

Fortunately, while the constitution, laws, and monuments of past glories are now disregarded and destroyed, there is an undercurrent of progressive thought and actions waiting to be unleashed to rebuild on a foundation of emerging technologies and learned experiences across all elements of good living we have known.

  Unlike the knee jerk reactions to daily worldwide events the current administration employs, long range planning must return to ensure actions taken result in positive outcomes applicable to all people here and abroad. Examples are wars started with no idea how to end them, and products built without plans to test them for market readiness and life cycle support.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is key to the rebuilding better processes. Data generated over the ages and stored in readily accessible “clouds” form the information basis AI uses in performing its tasks whether it supports medical, economic, historic… building futuristic almost anything while also relieving humans of repetitive, boring, error prone work. Many of these advantages have already been employed using various technologies. AI will take it a step further.     

But there are dangers. AI in the hands of clever, unscrupulous, ambitious political operatives like Stephen Miller, the Heritage Foundation, and the Trump family would have even more devastating effects on our country and family of nations.

Let’s face it. The world is in unpredictable turmoil caused by the willful disobedience to law and order of those currently in power here and abroad. There are still world leaders capable of putting together alliances for good as we did after WWII. The United Nations was a success until major powers bypassed its charter just as our government has bypassed the constitution.

Best of all, however, would be a return to the “WOKE” philosophy of governing along with DEI in workplaces, woman’s rights, equal rights…all things democrats have fought for over the past century. In case you have forgotten WOKE principals were the cornerstone of Jesus’s teaching…kindness, empathy, love of others are just a few elements in WOKE. The opposite is MAGA/Trump, Miller, Hegseth hatred and disdain for the imperfect.
