Notes from the Chief
Notes from the Chief…By the time you read this school will be back in session for the 2025-2026 school year. Please be cognizant of the little ones that are walking and biking to school. There will also be more traffic on the roads before and after school each day. Please use the designated drop-off locations at the high school and elementary. There is some construction going on behind both schools with the construction and remodel of parking lots. This will affect traffic flow for the first couple weeks of school.
We also want to remind drivers to give plenty of room around school buses. When the flashing yellow lights come on, please be aware that the bus is approaching a stop to pick up or drop off school kids. We get a few stop arm violations each year and most get by with a warning. The stop arm violation is in fact an arrestable offense. Safety is number one with getting students and staff to and from school every day. Please do your part so you don’t get your name or incident in the police column.
Thank you and have a nice week. Chief Tyler
