Officers stay busy with disturbance calls in Frazee

Friday, July 19
11:06 p.m. Vehicle attempting to get some scrap materials from a local business which they said they had permission for. Officer suggested getting the items in the daylight.
11:31 p.m. Assist with a suicidal male.
Saturday, July 20
3:15 p.m. Report of package not being delivered. Officer and tenant tried to locate said package via a neighbor who also said they were missing a package. Officer called mail person who said the package was small enough to fit in the mailbox which is where it was found.
10:26 p.m. Traffic stop for stop sign violation.
Sunday, July 21
1:18 p.m. Assist DLPD with locating a stolen laptop that may be in Frazee. Laptop was not found at given address.
3:48 p.m. Warning given to female driver for parking on the sidewalk for an extended period of time. Female moved vehicle when asked.
4:11 p.m. Officer saw a female throw an empty can as she was walking along the road. Female picked up the can when asked to by the officer.
10:47 p.m. Report of an internal door alarm at a business. Officer checked the exterior doors and all were secure.
Monday, July 22
12:07 a.m. Assist with a pursuit that started in White Earth and ended near 29 and 34.
6:09 a.m. Report of a suspicious male walking around town. Male party was walking around looking for his homeless cousin.
7:21 a.m. Traffic stop for stop sign violation.
3:52 p.m. Party wanting assistance with removing belongings from an ex-partner. Officers are only obligated to stand by when there is court paperwork requesting a law enforcement presence. Officer told party that we needed to see the court order stating the property retrieval was authorized by a judge.
6:22 p.m. Report of 2 loose dogs. One of the dogs had a tag and officer was able to reunite dogs with their hooman.
9:07 p.m. Disturbance reported at the Dollar General. Two male parties who have had differences in the past happened to meet at the store and words were exchanged with them showing their discontent for one another.
10:03 p.m. Assist Perham PD with locating a female who did not pay for gasoline.
11:18 p.m. Vehicle in a park after hours. A couple with a young child were grilling and trying to view the full moon. They were planning on leaving after they ate.
Tuesday, July 23
1:55 a.m. Assist with a medical.
9:37 p.m. Assist with a medical/welfare check where a male party fell outside.
12:02 p.m. Complaint of kids playing in the street with no supervision, worried about the young children.
12:09 p.m. Teenage boy causing issues. Officer mediated the situation in the blended home and hopefully they could get along for a few hours.
1:56 p.m. Resident calling about a woodchuck in their yard.
4:58 p.m. Resident calling about a vehicle that has been parked in the street for a few days and was concerned with upcoming events during Turkey Days. Officer talked with the vehicle owner and learned that he parks in town and ride shares to work.
8:33 p.m. Officer found a young boy by the city beach alone. Officer talked with the boy and the boy said he didn’t tell his mom he went to the lake. The boy had an older sibling who was in the water at the time and she took responsibility for the boy. Officer was able to track mom down and explain what happened.
Wednesday, July 24
10:16 a.m. Property owner filled out trespass papers on a local homeless woman.
10:32 a.m. Transport female to Becker County Human Services.
3:02 p.m. Female reporting being threatened by a male acquaintance. Possible court order violation also.
10:39 p.m. Complaint of teenage kids playing football in the street and messing with cars. Officer asked that the kids not play in the street.
Thursday, July 25
9:54 a.m. Officer asked a local business that their sidewalk sign be moved so people can use the sidewalk as the sign covered the entire walkway. Sign was moved.
9:58 a.m. Business owner reporting a missing motor vehicle from the property since May. Vehicle was assigned stolen.
11:13 a.m. Complaint from a business that a vehicle has been parked in their parking lot for a couple days. Same vehicle as before, driver is parking in town and car pools to work.
8:33 p.m. Officer talked with tenant about furniture that was next to the curb that the garbage truck has not picked up. Tenant said they will move the furniture so officer did not have to visit with the landlord.
9:58 p.m. Report of a court order violation.
