To the Editor,

I am a lifelong resident of Otter Tail County and I support Jordan Rasmusson for Minnesota Senate District 9. Jordan understands the challenges that area small businesses and hard-working taxpayers face and he has been an effective legislator representing our region and its rural values. 

Jordan strongly supports tax relief for all Minnesotans including eliminating the state income tax on social security.  He co-authored the Minnesota Elections Integrity Act requiring Voter ID and banning ballot harvesting. This legislation will make sure our future elections are safe and secure.

Jordan worked hard to force Governor Walz’s administration to reopen the drivers license bureau in Fergus Falls and now residents are no longer forced to drive hundreds of miles to receive essential services.

Jordan backs our law enforcement officers and supports tougher sentences for repeat offenders. He worked on the passage of mental health reform that increased services in Otter Tail County. 

Jordan supports the rights of parents to have control over their children’s education including elimination of the radical woke curriculum Educate Minnesota wants to put in our schools. 

I am a pro-life and a second amendment rights supporter and I know that Jordan is a strong advocate for those rights. 

Jordan is the proven conservative candidate and he is the only candidate in this race endorsed by the Republican Party.
