Notes from the Chief

Tales from the past….   Myself and another officer were looking for a male party with a felony warrant and had knowledge that he may be in a residence in Frazee. We knocked on the door and were asked who it was.

I replied, “Landlord” because some people don’t like to open their doors for the police.

The door was opened and there was quite a surprise when we were standing there. There was a male in the background that was not very happy that we were there. Although he was not the person we were looking for, he was telling us that we couldn’t say we were the landlord, claiming that was “Identity Theft.”

No landlord came forward claiming the stolen identity.

Have a nice day.
